Wave of Peace
Wave of Peace, Light installation, 11–12 The Beach. December 2025 – January 2026
Wave of Peace was a temporary light installation spanning the upper windows of 11 and 12 The Beach. Warm white lines of light moved gently through the building, held behind frosted glass, forming a quiet wave that was continuous, but not unbroken. A pause was left where the light did not pass, acknowledging boundaries, rest, and stillness.
The work unfolded gradually. Lights appeared across different rooms and windows over time, creating a slow rhythm of flow and balance rather than a single illuminated moment.
Below, a short text in the kiosk window invited attention to light, water, earth, and hope — offering a small pause in the day and a reason to look up.
