Alessandra’s caricaturial alter ego, Sandy Vella – has been played out in a number of recurring ideas in numerous situations. This grotesquely glamorous character (complete with perma tan, mirror shades, blonde wig, gold chain and sports wear) is photographed ruthlessly promoting products and lifestyles. With lo-tech production, and amateurish exhibition, the advertisements combine to form an ongoing endorsement of her own Sandy brand.
